PUTRAJAYA, Wed: The new price of petrol is RM2.70 per litre beginning midnight tonight, it was announced a moment ago by Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Shahrir Samad. Diesel will go up by RM1 per litre while the price for ULG 92 per litre went up by 74 sen. The 78 sen hike or 40 per cent increase for the ULG 97 petrol is still below the antiticpated RM4 per litre price projected earlier and among the cheapest in Asia. - NSTI was not surprised by the news, but just the timing. Now I have to pay RM2.70 per litre for petrol and this will eat into my monthly budget. Before this increase my petrol bill was RM1250 per month since I have to send my sons to Klang everyday for school. I am staying in Seri Petaling. Based on 40% increase, my petrol bill will be around RM1750 (excluding toll)
I was thinking of converting to NGV but the conversion cost too much. However the long term financial benefit should be enough to cover the initial cost of conversion. Unless Natural Gas price hike too.
While I was in Australia I come across this Water 4 Gas kit where you can save around 30-40% of your fuel consumption. I drove the car with the conversion before and it feel more powerful, I was told the Gas produce by the water is like Nitro! Cool and we can go racing.

I guess now I have to be serious about getting the system install into my car!
Happy Driving!
